The Rodent Control Process
Our rodent control process consists of three simple but extremely important steps: inspection, treatment, and follow-up. In the inspection step of the process, our technicians do a thorough check of your property to look for both signs of rodent presence and potential entry points that may have been what allowed them in. Once we have all of this information, we use it to formulate a plan to not only seal off entry points but to get the rodents out.
Each plan consists of a combination of different options, including traps, bait stations, and more. During the treatment portion of your control service, we put these products into action. We also install one-way doors over entry points and rodent holes to allow rodents to exit but not re-enter. You should see a reduction in rodent activity almost immediately, but it generally takes a few weeks before we’re confident the problem is gone for good.
We will usually check any traps and bait stations a week after your initial treatment. This allows us to remove any trapped rodents from your property and ask you if you are continuing to notice any further rodent activity.
Cleaning & Decontamination Services
During the follow-up period, we will also go over your options for decontamination with you. Rodents are extremely messy, often leaving behind nest remnants, feces, urine stains, and much more. These can cause health issues, leave behind odors, and can continue to damage your home even after rodents have been removed.
